Client: Thirsty Girl Coffee, a pink-themed cafe located in Downtown, Pomona that is centered around creating unique themed drinks such as Mean Girls, Bratz, Hello Kitty, and Disney! 

Role: Marketing Specialist

Objective: Increase Thirsty Girl Coffee's brand recognition, boost foot traffic, and establish "TGC" as a creative hub.

    Strategy Overview: 

    • Target Audience: Cal Poly Pomona students with a valid student ID.
    • Method of Enrollment: In-store
    • Verification Process: Students must show a valid student ID in-store
    • Incentive for Enrollment: An initial signup discount/points.

    Accomplishments: Student Loyalty Program for California State Polytechnic University-Pomona Students .

    • Tiered Rewards System: Students earn points for every purchase. Higher tiers reward customers with greater benefits, encouraging repeated business.
    • Exclusive Discounts: Offer exclusive discounts to loyalty program members. Includes a percentage off purchases, a free drink after a certain number of purchases, or special "student-only" deals.
    • Birthday and Seasonal Offers: Provide special offers on students' birthdays and seasonal offers during exam periods or holidays, enhancing the customer relationship.
    • Referral Bonuses: Encourage students to refer friends with referral bonuses, such as additional points or discounts for both the referrer and the new member.
    • Feedback Incentives: Offer points or small rewards for providing feedback on services and new products, engaging students in the brand's development.
    • Engagement through Social Media and App: Use a mobile app or social media for easy tracking of points and to push notifications about new deals or rewards, keeping the brand top of mind.
    • Data Analysis for Personalization: Collect data on purchase history and preferences to offer personalized deals, further increasing the value for the customer.  

    Our Social Media Strategy Plan for Thirsty Girl Coffee:

    • Researched and developed a social media strategy plan for our client using S.M.A.R.T to increase brand awareness and community engagement for Thirsty Girl Coffee on Instagram and TikTok.
    • Collaborated with client on-site to film and edit brand content. 
    • Developed a social media content calendar for client to follow.
